Where to find bitcoin pool url for iOS version of mobile miner?
I am only interesting in mining bitcoin only with mobile miner app with my iPod Touch but do any of you know where to find bitcoin pool url? I really need the bitcoin pool url to start mining bitcoin. I understand that it take a while to mine bitcoin but I just want to try it. Also other pool url such as stratum+tcp://p2pool.org:9332 and http://mine.p2pool.com:9332 won’t work on mobile miner.
If you need help or you're New to roms and emulation these are some tips

https://github.com/gridcoin-community/Gridcoin-Research/releases/tag/126.96.36.199 Finally! After over ten months of development and testing, "Fern" has arrived! This is a whopper. 240 pull requests merged. Essentially a complete rewrite that was started with the scraper (the "neural net" rewrite) in "Denise" has now been completed. Practically the ENTIRE Gridcoin specific codebase resting on top of the vanilla Bitcoin/Peercoin/Blackcoin vanilla PoS code has been rewritten. This removes the team requirement at last (see below), although there are many other important improvements besides that. Fern was a monumental undertaking. We had to encode all of the old rules active for the v10 block protocol in new code and ensure that the new code was 100% compatible. This had to be done in such a way as to clear out all of the old spaghetti and ring-fence it with tightly controlled class implementations. We then wrote an entirely new, simplified ruleset for research rewards and reengineered contracts (which includes beacon management, polls, and voting) using properly classed code. The fundamentals of Gridcoin with this release are now on a very sound and maintainable footing, and the developers believe the codebase as updated here will serve as the fundamental basis for Gridcoin's future roadmap. We have been testing this for MONTHS on testnet in various stages. The v10 (legacy) compatibility code has been running on testnet continuously as it was developed to ensure compatibility with existing nodes. During the last few months, we have done two private testnet forks and then the full public testnet testing for v11 code (the new protocol which is what Fern implements). The developers have also been running non-staking "sentinel" nodes on mainnet with this code to verify that the consensus rules are problem-free for the legacy compatibility code on the broader mainnet. We believe this amount of testing is going to result in a smooth rollout. Given the amount of changes in Fern, I am presenting TWO changelogs below. One is high level, which summarizes the most significant changes in the protocol. The second changelog is the detailed one in the usual format, and gives you an inkling of the size of this release.
Note that the protocol changes will not become active until we cross the hard-fork transition height to v11, which has been set at 2053000. Given current average block spacing, this should happen around October 4, about one month from now. Note that to get all of the beacons in the network on the new protocol, we are requiring ALL beacons to be validated. A two week (14 day) grace period is provided by the code, starting at the time of the transition height, for people currently holding a beacon to validate the beacon and prevent it from expiring. That means that EVERY CRUNCHER must advertise and validate their beacon AFTER the v11 transition (around Oct 4th) and BEFORE October 18th (or more precisely, 14 days from the actual date of the v11 transition). If you do not advertise and validate your beacon by this time, your beacon will expire and you will stop earning research rewards until you advertise and validate a new beacon. This process has been made much easier by a brand new beacon "wizard" that helps manage beacon advertisements and renewals. Once a beacon has been validated and is a v11 protocol beacon, the normal 180 day expiration rules apply. Note, however, that the 180 day expiration on research rewards has been removed with the Fern update. This means that while your beacon might expire after 180 days, your earned research rewards will be retained and can be claimed by advertising a beacon with the same CPID and going through the validation process again. In other words, you do not lose any earned research rewards if you do not stake a block within 180 days and keep your beacon up-to-date. The transition height is also when the team requirement will be relaxed for the network.
Besides the beacon wizard, there are a number of improvements to the GUI, including new UI transaction types (and icons) for staking the superblock, sidestake sends, beacon advertisement, voting, poll creation, and transactions with a message. The main screen has been revamped with a better summary section, and better status icons. Several changes under the hood have improved GUI performance. And finally, the diagnostics have been revamped.
The wallet sync speed has been DRASTICALLY improved. A decent machine with a good network connection should be able to sync the entire mainnet blockchain in less than 4 hours. A fast machine with a really fast network connection and a good SSD can do it in about 2.5 hours. One of our goals was to reduce or eliminate the reliance on snapshots for mainnet, and I think we have accomplished that goal with the new sync speed. We have also streamlined the in-memory structures for the blockchain which shaves some memory use. There are so many goodies here it is hard to summarize them all. I would like to thank all of the contributors to this release, but especially thank @cyrossignol, whose incredible contributions formed the backbone of this release. I would also like to pay special thanks to @barton2526, @caraka, and @Quezacoatl1, who tirelessly helped during the testing and polishing phase on testnet with testing and repeated builds for all architectures. The developers are proud to present this release to the community and we believe this represents the starting point for a true renaissance for Gridcoin!
Most significantly, nodes calculate research rewards directly from the magnitudes in EACH superblock between stakes instead of using a two- or three- point average based on a CPID's current magnitude and the magnitude for the CPID when it last staked. For those long-timers in the community, this has been referred to as "Superblock Windows," and was first done in proof-of-concept form by @denravonska.
Network magnitude unit pinned to a static value of 0.25
Max research reward allowed per block raised to 16384 GRC (from 12750 GRC)
New CPIDs begin accruing research rewards from the first superblock that contains the CPID instead of from the time of the beacon advertisement
500 GRC research reward limit for a CPID's first stake
6-month expiration for unclaimed rewards
10-block spacing requirement between research reward claims
Rolling 5-day payment-per-day limit
Legacy tolerances for floating-point error and time drift
The need to include a valid copy of a CPID's magnitude in a claim
10-block emission adjustment interval for the magnitude unit
One-time beacon activation requires that participants temporarily change their usernames to a verification code at one whitelisted BOINC project
Verification codes of pending beacons expire after 3 days
Self-service beacon removal
Burn fee for beacon advertisement increased from 0.00001 GRC to 0.5 GRC
Rain addresses derived from beacon keys instead of a default wallet address
Beacon expiration determined as of the current block instead of the previous block
The ability for developers to remove beacons
The ability to sign research reward claims with non-current but unexpired beacons
As a reminder:
Beacons expire after 6 months pass (180 days)
Beacons can be renewed after 5 months pass (150 days)
Renewed beacons must be signed with the same key as the original beacon
Magnitudes less than 1 include two fractional places
Magnitudes greater than or equal to 1 but less than 10 include one fractional place
A valid superblock must match a scraper convergence
Superblock popularity election mechanics
Yes/no/abstain and single-choice response types (no user-facing support yet)
To create a poll, a maximum of 250 UTXOs for a single address must add up to 100000 GRC. These are selected from the largest downwards.
Burn fee for creating polls scaled by the number of UTXOs claimed
50 GRC for a poll contract
0.001 GRC per claimed UTXO
Burn fee for casting votes scaled by the number of UTXOs claimed
0.01 GRC for a vote contract
0.01 GRC to claim magnitude
0.01 GRC per claimed address
0.001 GRC per claimed UTXO
Maximum length of a poll title: 80 characters
Maximum length of a poll question: 100 characters
Maximum length of a poll discussion website URL: 100 characters
Maximum number of poll choices: 20
Maximum length of a poll choice label: 100 characters
Magnitude, CPID count, and participant count poll weight types
The ability for developers to remove polls and votes

Handshake: A New DNS to improve Blockchain Security
Blockchain has been a revolutionary technology. It has sparked a wave of change and, at the same time, has led to some new transformations in the business operations. Blockchain developers and Blockchain engineers are working arduously to develop a solution that makes the network free from cyber attacks. One of Blockchain’s key aspects is that it is a decentralized platform that is free from any control. In addition to this, Blockchain is a transparent system and works swiftly compared to the conventional system. Digital platforms have become paramount. Most of the work is now done on digital platforms. This leads to a lot of data lying astray on the World Wide Web. While it appears to be a lucrative platform, but the conventional media is not free of cyber threats. Hence there is a need to switch to a system that is free from attacks and, at the same time, is easy to access. Handshake: A new Blockchain DNS DNS is a domain name system that is a directory of all the website URLs associated with an IP address. For example, suppose you wish to search about a website names technologygroup.com. In that case, it will direct you to its respective IP address, which in this case is 184.108.40.206, this IP address is stored in the DNS, and the internet recognizes the same and directs you to the associated website. This happens in a fraction of a second. Since humans cannot recollect such huge numbers, the task is done by the DNS. The DNS system is centralized and is highly prone to cyber threats and attacks. Hence, we have seen a growing number of cases of cyber threats. To overcome this, an alternative solution like Handshake has emerged. What is Handshake? In simple words, Handshake is a decentralized DNS system that functions similar to that of a DNS system but is decentralized. It means that there is no centralized control over the system, and it is easily accessible. Handshake is a modified version of Bitcoin. Handshake is going to protect the network similar to the miners in Bitcoin who protect the cryptocurrency. Thus, it will be a safe network that is decentralized, free from any threats and vulnerabilities. The future- This is just one example of how Blockchain is going to transform the system’s functioning. Blockchain developers are working on different applications and tools that can simplify the task while reducing cyber threats vulnerabilities. Owing to the growing penetration of Blockchain in the industry, companies are actively hiring Blockchain experts. And thus, it has become a lucrative career option. Tech aspirants are actively enrolling for Blockchain training and Blockchain certification programs. Conclusion Blockchain Council is a leading online portal providing online Blockchain training. It offers the best Blockchain certification program. One can opt for a specialized field, or they can choose to learn about technology in general. This is an industry-oriented program that enables you to get the best Blockchain engineer salary package. So, don’t delay your professional growth. Enroll for Blockchain certification today.
29, building my first pc since I was teenager. Help?
Hey guys I’m 29, just started working again after Covid, saved you a pretty penny to build my first pc since I was like 13-14 years old. Ngl seems so much easier with websites like pc part picker. I’m mostly going to be gaming on the lighter side of things, but I figured I would buy a step or two up so that if I decide to play something a little more heavy I won’t have to make many/any upgrades to play. Don’t care about how it looks, currently my ram is rgb because it was the cheapest 3600 ram I could find to pair with my Ryzen (which apparently likes faster ram) oh, i need a cheap reliable monitor to pair it with, id rather pay a little more for something quality than buy something twice. Also, debating putting off the whole purchase until they come out with the new GPUs, just cause it seems silly to pay big now when it’ll be outdated in a month or so. pc part picker list So far my build is just a slightly edited version of someone else’s build I found. At first I was doing my own from scratch but I accidentally deleted the url from my clipboard and decided to just tweak someone else’s build. Edit: Friend who used to be a bitcoin miner offered me an old 1080ti, this should be more than enough for Me right? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vzjHXv Since I might be getting my video card cheaper I threw an extra 40$ at my motherboard for the tomahawk.
Cryptocurrency has gained popularity and attracted attention of investors and enthusiasts because of it's technical features and usefulness as profitable investment tool. Nonetheless, cryptocurrency is not created freely rather large number of computer based miners are able to create Bitcoin and other altcoins through use of vast energy. In the past years, researchers have revealed that 80% energy consumption is acquired through fossil fuels and it will continue to play a crucial role in the world's development. Regardless of the advantages obtained through fossil fuels, the harmful effects outweighs the benefits against the ecosystem and mankind survival. Moreover, energy used by miners during the process of confirming cryptocurrency transactions, recording and creating new Bitcoin or cryptocurrency units is obtained from coal and thermal plants which leads to increased Co2 emissions, air pollution, rise in global warming and death rates. Sustainability of the environment is important for continuous mankind survival and growth. Thus, some innovative start-up are researching and introducing new alternative solutions to eliminate the reliance on fossil fuels or hydrocarbons plants for supply of energy used in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrency mining operations. GX Blocks is an example of such latest innovations that intends to apply new strategies and techniques to minimize supply of Co2 emissions and harmful contaminants into the environment, through use of renewable energy units that is clean, safe and affordable for cryptocurrency miners. https://i.ibb.co/NnbZtNb/images-11.jpg ABOUT GX BLOCKS Gx Blocks platform runs on blockchain and comes with a Hybrid business model that is risk free as well merged with mobile mining units connected to renewable energy mechanisms. The platform is incredibly intuitive and user friendly with a structured DLT ecosystem to help users experience profitable mining in cryptocurrency. Clixcoin, an Advertsing Faucet in which to invest online with crypto even for those with very little financial availability. First article of the month dedicated to advertising, now an increasingly predominant type in the sector of cryptocurrency faucet sites. Clixcoin, this is the name of the site, already has over a year of life behind it and at the time of writing we can consider it among the reliable sites. Thanks to our article, investing online with crypto on Clixcoin will become easy with the first steps. After logging in, you will immediately see the introductory page which in the center shows 2 main buttons: My account, which leads to the Dashboard, and Learn More which leads to the F.A.Q. page. At the top we have a menu that will be repeated in the Dashboard and that we will then describe later. Scrolling down the classic general information is displayed: last transfers, number of subscribers, main functions, etc ... Your Clixcoin account. By selecting My Account, the main screen will appear consisting of a menu bar and all the details relating to your account. The menu is divided as follows: - Dashboard: where are you now - Earn Bitcoin: the section that allows you to earn cryptocurrencies. Divided into 4 categories: Surf Ads, for which it will be sufficient to leave the page open until the timer expires; Active Windows Ads, with which you are forced to keep the page displayed on the screen open until the timer expires; Auto Surf Ads, with which you will earn a small amount of Satoshi by automatically letting some advertising pages scroll; Paid to Promote, where you will earn money by advertising Clixcoin using a link provided by the site. You can use it in combination with the many banners available. - Contest: the classic competitions that in this case reward those who get the most earnings from Referrals or Paid To Promote. - Miner: in this section you can buy a mining package by choosing from four different categories based on cost and power. You can buy as many packages as you want and each will last for 30 days. The accumulated Coins will later be convertible into Satoshi Bitcoin. Let's explore how to invest in advertising through crypto. - Advertisers: the section dedicated to advertising campaigns. Divided into four categories identical to those seen in Earn Bitcoin. The available options will allow you to enter title, URL, duration, description and activation after approval. Each campaign has a standard cost that will increase based on the duration of the individual advertisements. More accessible in terms of costs than other advertising sites. - Membership: as seen in other similar sites, it is possible to increase your membership level (divided into 4 levels) upon payment of a subscription. Going up in level will increase the percentage of earnings related to their clicks and those of their subscribers as well as a percentage on their purchases in the miner section and their level upgrade. - Referrals: all your referrals will be listed in my referrals including statistics and earnings obtained. In my referral link, your referral URL and a wide choice of banners of various sizes are provided together with the pre-compiled HTML code to be included on your sites. - History: lists all deposits made and cryptocurrency transfers to your wallets. The minimum threshold is currently set at 40000 Satoshi. - Settings: here you will be given the opportunity to decide whether to show your nickname during contests, to your subscribers and in transfers. You can change your password and your personal or FaucetPay Bitcoin address. Still on the Dashboard ... Returning to the Dashboard, let's quickly spend a few words on its content even if it is already repeated almost completely in the menu just described. In succession we have: - Main Balance which displays the total accumulated Satoshi. The Withdraw button will send directly to the transfers section. - Advertising Balance, with its deposit button, which displays the amount dedicated to the advertising section. - Referrals, shows the number of personal referrals and a button that opens a page showing all the clicks made by you and your referrals. - PTP, same as above but concerning the Paid to Promote.
